The Big Skip of '26 is a nationwide skipping event uniting communities across the UK and around the globe in one powerful act of movement. We're glad you're ready to join us through movement, connection and purpose, ready to jump all over cancer ! It's happening in person at Harris Academy, St Johns Wood, London and on-line wherever you are -on Saturday 12th September 2026 (12pm till 4pm).
Whether you’re a seasoned skipper or picking up a rope for the first time, this event is about showing up, getting active, and supporting a meaningful cause — all while having a great time.
🪢 What is Rope4Hope? What is The Big Skip?
Rope4Hope is a committee dedicated to raising vital funds and awareness for and on behalf of Cancer Research UK, whilst also promoting a healthy and active lifestyle through Jump Rope. We do this by running annual events which bring together skippers from across the globe.
Our annual event is - The Big Skip this is  our flagship national skipping event, uniting people in one coordinated act of movement on Saturday 12th September 2026.
At the heart of The Big Skip is The Magic Minute , where we jump together for one powerful minute at 1pm, united in a Basic Bounce as we jump all over cancer - TOGETHER! As well as this coordinated moment, there will be group skipping sessions, challenges, and tutorials to get everyone involved whatever their ability. And, for those ready to jump further, the Rope4Hope (cancer) Combo offers another opportunity to collectively take a stance against Cancer and prove that we are stronger, and can achieve more, when we unite and jump together.
